Osmani: Sorensen I warned of the incompatibility of the draft Association with the Constitution

In communication with journalists, President Osmani warned of the failure to comply with the Kosovo Constitution, reports Online Economy, broadcast Periscope.

The process has been lacking in balance from the parties, and this has then not only damaged Kosovo's position in this process, which is the constructive side, but has also damaged EU credibility as a mediator in Kosovo's SerbisëSerbia dialogue. The second issue that I have repeated and it is an identical attitude, which I've held earlier, has been warned about the draft association statute even at the beginning when it was proposed by the EU, even now: remarks about the non-compliance of the draft with the Kosovo Constitution. They are not technical remarks that a country president does not make technical, but substantial remarks, and that the specific provisions of that draft statute could harm Kosovo's internal functionality”, said President Osmani. Osman also spoke in this proposal as well as in the hearings he gave earlier in terms of draft Association status, where he said there are still identical positions regarding those remarks.
