Osman recalls Bajram Kelmendi with two boys on the 26th anniversary of the assassination: Justice Remains an Oath

Through a media report, President Osmani has sought justice for lawyer Kelmendi and his sons.

“Twenty-six years ago, Kosovo lost a steadfast justice fighter, lawyer Bajram Kelmendi, and his two sons, Kastriot and Condition. In the darkest hours of our history, they were kidnapped from their home by Milosevic's genocide regime and brutally executed. This barbarian act was intended to discourage our struggle for freedom. But violence failed to eliminate the truth, and crime did not stop trying for justice. Today, we remember them not only as victims of a criminal regime, but as symbols of resistance, ideals for a free and democratic Kosovo”, it has been said in the Presidency's announcement, adding that the generations that passed.

“Life and the sacrifice of Bajram Kelmendi is a testament to the courage, while killing him and the boys is a permanent reminder of our debt to justice. On this anniversary, we reaffirm our steadfast commitment: justice for Bajram Kelmendi and his sons will remain not only a promise but an oath. The generations to come will learn about them not only as victims of a cruelty but as invincible flagkeepers of a people who never gave up. May they be remembered forever!”, the Presidency has praised.
