Democratic League of Kosovo Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku, on the 8th occasion of Mars, has congratulated all the girls and women on their day.
Through a message, Obadiah expresses gratitude and respect for all women, who say that their work, devotion, and sacrifice glorify the best values of society.
Today, we remember their great efforts at equality, justice and peace. We also recall the role and contribution of all women in our country's worst times, thus being part of all the process of establishing and building our state, equal to its responsibilities and contributions. And today, they are hosters of many changes and extraordinary strength in our society, making their contribution in every field. So we say it out loud that we are proud of their unique work in the cause of a more just and equal society. And we line up with them in the fight for equal rights”.
On this day, the important thing is that we all have to reflect on their achievements and engage to create a brighter future, where women have equal opportunities and enjoy their rights completely. The woman's economic, social and political empowerment is a direct investment in strengthening and developing the state. It is a guarantee for a more just, equal and more developed Kosovo. Thank you from the heart for your precious contribution and I assure you that this commitment to an equal and just society will continue, today and always”, Obadiah wrote.
On the other hand, he says that together they will build a place where women and girls have more opportunities and support.
We're building a place where women and girls have more opportunities, more support and more room to lead important processes for the future of the country! ”
