Croatia has said that the Kosovo- Albania and Croatia are also open to other partners. For that to date, Bulgaria has already expressed readiness, according to criminalistics professor Fatmir Colak, there are rumours that even Turkey and Macedonia can become part of this initiative. Meanwhile, the connoisseur of military developments from Macedonia, Selim Ibrahimi, says Macedonia currently with the current prime minister is not expected to become part of the Kosovo military coalition- Albania and Croatia, followed Periscope.
Regional initiative in the field of defence, Kosovo, Albania and Croatia can join other countries in the region.
So at least Croatia has said, which linked military agreements with the two Albanian states.
The willingness to become part of this initiative has been expressed by Bulgaria.
The voices are likely to do the same for northern Macedonia.
But, Selim Ibrahimi, connoisseur of military developments from this state, told Tve1 that Macedonia is not expected with the current government, as he called it, to join this alliance.
“The relationship of military three-way relations made up of Albania, Croatia and Kosovo with Northern Macedonia remains uncertain, given Skopje's growing reports with Belgrade under the new government. To ease these risks and strengthen the pact, Bulgaria's integration of a historically important regional player could counterbalanise Serbia's influence, especially when the US consider reducing its security presence in Europe. Success will depend on the ability of the triple to deepen co-operation, ensure the support of NATO and the EU, and effectively manage regional tensions”, Ibrahim has praised.
And criminal professor Fatmir Colak thinks differently.
He says that in addition to Macedonia and Bulgaria, Turkey can join, and states that have welcomed this trilateral agreement.
This is unequivocally launched that will join several states, the public has already been warned that Bulgaria has also shown interest, Turkey and the willingness to stand behind this agreement of these states to be supported and developed further in the sense of an advanced and consolidated structure among these friendly states. Therefore, it is very easy for other countries in the region such as Macedonia to join this initiative and form an alliance of several states”, Colak says.
According to Colak, all of this is being done after US President Donald Trump's demands that Europe be strengthened more in a military way as well as in the event of an eventual attack.
The “is the initiative resulting from the warned concept and now the beginning of the realisation of Trump's demands, the restructuring of the armed forces in Europe, and the wider possibility of NATO withdrawing that only European and Balkan countries should think of more pragmatic solutions in terms of the military body to protect against any attack that could come to”, he says.
Kosovo, Albania and Croatia signed the joint declaration of the military alliance in Tirana, from which defence ministers said it is no threat to any country.
