Nol Niushi acquitted of hooliganism in 2015 protest

The Act against Nusshi was proclaimed Wednesday by the Donika-Abdyli Gykat, reports “Justice bet“, broadcast Periscope.
Nushi was acquitted of criminal activity “The participation in the crowd committing criminal acts and hooliganism”, with the argument that he has not proven to have committed the actions described as in the indictment.
“From the administration of evidence in this judicial review, the actual situation described as at the point 1 of the device has not been verified”, the judge said.
While for criminal acts “The attack on the official person while performing official task” and “Nothing or damage to property”, the Court rejected the prosecution.
In the proclamation of the act, the Noushi was not nearby.
For criminal action “The attack on the official person during the performance of official duties”, prosecutor Valdrin Krasniqi during the final address on March 10th 2025, has been withdrawn from prosecution, arguing that the administered evidence has not proved that the defendant carried out this work.

Otherwise, according to the indictment on January 18, 2016, the accused Nol Niushi was charged that on November 17 and 18th 2015, from 12: 00 p.m. to about 8:00 p.m., he has participated in the protest mob, which has ruled out and despite the fact that the rule forces were listed and keeping the situation under control, Niushi, as active participants in the protest, is accused of seriously attacking Kosovo police officers by hitting them with stones, concrete cubes and other strong means.
In addition, the indictment is said to have caused serious bodily injuries as well as serious material damage on both social property and private property.
With this, according to the prosecution, Nushi was charged with committing criminal work “The participation in the crowd committing criminal acts and hooliganism” by Article 421, par.1, and criminal work “Attack the official person while performing official duty”, from Article 410, par.2 of the Penal Code. Also charged with criminal action “Uncover or damage property” by Article 333, Penal Code
