That statement, Maloku made Wednesday the third day of testimony in the trial of Hashim Thaci, Kadri Veselini, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi, reports “Justice Vow “.
It's hard to understand the Kosovo Liberation Army. It's hard to understand an army rising from a captive people into a volunteer army, in a regular army. This has been what made us together, our goal of releasing Kosovo”, Maloku said, answering Veselin's lawyer Rodney Dixon's questions.
When asked about Mensur Cosum, Maloch said he didn't know the person in question was the head of intelligence, he followed. Periscope.
With the right market, for his position as chief intelligence I don't have a day of”, Maloku said.
The witness, Tuesday, told the Prosecution that Faton Mehmetaj was the superior of the Intelligence-Recovering Sector in the Dukagjin Zone.
In those units where I was, in those meetings and those inspections I did, I never saw him attend. He's got another job... I've never faced any work behind Faton Mehmetaj, there's no cross-border anywhere”, Maloku told Mehmetaj.
The Witness was presented with Faton Mehmetaj's statement of SPS, saying that the task as leader in the ZKZ sector has been held only two months and another person came to the post.
Also, a document was presented to him allegedly issued by the ZKZ sector, but the witness said he did not know who the author is.
According to Dixon, this document contained information on Maloku's work and activity, which he said had first seen in The Hague.
Malokut was later introduced to the procession of a January 30th 1999 meeting attended by a person named Lulzim Morina, who the witness said could not remember whether he had become commander of the 135 Brigade.
He said Morina's appointment to this Brigade may have been made after the month of May 1999.
The next document to the witness was a March 22, 1999 ordinance signed by Lulzim Morina as commander of the Brigade in question. Maloku said he does not recognise his signature, but that according to him, the document does not have any sign that it is in the Dukagjin Operative Zone.
Another document was presented to him saying that Morina was a brigade commander, but that the witness again said he did not know there was such a appointment at that time. And for later on, it could have happened.
I see no indication that this document is an official document of the Dukagjin Operative Zone. Usually, Dukagjin's operating area was held by Emrush Xhemajli. I don't see a sign here that this document is of the Dukagjin Operative Zone. The date here, at that time I didn't know that he was Brigadier Commander”, Maloch said.
Thus, Kadri Wessel's defense questions, represented by lawyer Rodney Dixon, ended.
We remember that on Tuesday, the witness was questioned except by the Prosecutor, even by Thaci's defense through lawyer Luka Misethic.
Justice Chairman Charles Smith III announced today that lunch break will not take an hour and a half but an hour with the reasoning that the time will be used to complete Maloch's testimony and continue later this week with the next witness.
In addition, Smitha announced that the Administrative Office has asked Maloku whether next week he may be available but that the witness has declined, giving also specific reasons that were not disclosed to the court.
So the judge said they'd try to get Maloch's testimony over today or eventually Thursday morning.
At this hearing, all the accused are present in the courtroom.
