There may have been a slight exaggeration. In general, the book reflects my past”, Maloku said, reports “Justice Trust“.
The witness was asked what he exaggerated in his book regarding the KLA's activity and function.
I may have presented the organisational structure and the chain of command as strict. Let me explain to you that the Kosovo Liberation Army has been a regular volunteer army. It wasn't a mobilization based on laws, the Government, the Ministry of Defence, but it was organised on voluntary ground”, he said.
He said each voluntary unit has responsibilities and obligations that distinguish from other entities that are mobilised by law, broadcasts Periscope.
The Witness was also asked about the role of Ilir Konusevci in the Kosovo Liberation Army.
“Key logistics man for KLA in Albania. It was persistent that as many officers as possible and as many military officers join Kosovo in the KLA ranks. I know that he has made the maximum effort that many of my colleagues who were experienced in the wars in Croatia and Bosnia to lock down”, the witness said, adding that efforts like Ilir Konushevci had made, as did Kemim Kelmendi.
Witness Maloku said there were reservations for their KLA lockup. He said that at the beginning of his event, he was involved in training volunteers who came from abroad to two camps that have been set up on Dajti Mountain in the vicinity of Tirana.
He said they later went to the logistics bases in Kukes and to Bajram Curr to establish the organisational structure of the bases for weapons that were collected to be deconcedented and technically controlled.
As a result, Maloku said it was because in case the soldiers took the gun to Kosovo, the weapon was functional because there have been several cases since the soldiers on guard haven't had their weapons working.
He also said that in 1998 they have suggested not to place mines against the council.
The only army that during the time of its practice and function has not been trained and has not been able to use anti-competer mines. Our land has been, our country has been that those mines have been met in hiding over decades later with the damage of children, civilians, animals, and we have this in common with Ilir Konushevci. Not the order, that we have not had the opportunity to give orders to Ilri Konusevci, but we have the council and we have told them never to give to soldiers and not teach soldiers about the use and minimation and the creation of anti-reference mines on Kosovo territory”, he said.
