French President Emmanuel Macron is considering another visit to the US to meet US President Donald Trump along with Ukrainian President Wolfymyr Zelensky and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, a French government spokeswoman said.
France and Great Britain have been at the head of Europe's response to the diplomatic crisis between the US and Ukraine, as tense talks between Trump and Zelensky were cut off last Friday, writes The Guardian, broadcast newspaper Express.
Speaking after the week-long meeting of the French cabinet, French government spokeswoman Sophie Primas told reporters: “is considered to be considering that President Macro could return to Washington with President Zelenskyy and British Prime Minister”.
Then she was asked when the visit could occur and whose idea was the visit.
In response, Primas said these information would be provided “in the near future” and said he believed the meeting was a French initiative.
