In an interview for “La Tribune Dimanche”, Macron said it is important that both leaders return to a climate of co-operation after present nervousness.
He stressed that the issue in question is very serious and requires a common focus on moving forward.
At the same time, the Élysée Palace announced that Macron has held a long conversation with both leaders last night, Donald Trump and Volody Zelensky, to discuss the situation and ways of improving relations.
