How Kurt's fellow workers ended up in prisons and charges

On March 18th of this year's Special Prosecutor of Kosovo had landed in the town of Gjakova to arrest chief chief of the Regional Water Company “Gjakova”, Hasan Krasniqisuspected of misusing official duty. Hasan, who was an assembly candidate in the Gjakova municipality of Alternative-Vetevendosje, was arrested even earlier outside the country where he was suspected of human trafficking. Krasniqi was arrested in March 2024 in Bulgaria's state under an INTERPOL arrest warrant. He was being searched by Italy's police under suspicion of trafficking with people.
The reason for Hasan's arrest were allegations of waves of tenders that made him the videos he was negotiating to select companies illegally.

“During the investigation phase has been found that defendant Naser Hafizi, only in the period of time from 17.08.2023 to 16,07.2024, has bought four residences at Pristina locations Fushe Kosovo. The discovery of financial data has resulted in no revenues except his salary, his wife and father, who do not get the value of about 1600 per month. In this regard, we appreciate that the property the defendant has purchased only in this period of time is in large disproportionate compared to his income. Hafizi is suspected that from 2021 onward, he has acted illegally in reducing the debts of water divers and granting water permits. Hafizi over the 1920s-2024 has deposited about 110 thousand euros. Kosovo's prime minister, Albin Kurti, had illegally appointed the Prime Minister of the Labour Inscription, Hekuran Nikci. Independent Supervisor Council for Kosovo Civil Service ( The KKPMSCK, had found that the appointment of Chief Inspector of the Labour Inspectorate was done illegally. The Constitutional Court, Appeal, and the Supreme Court also concluded that his appointment was illegal, since the competition for this position had to be declared.
And this year, Iron Nikchi was arrested by Kosovo Police and suspected of three criminal acts: Misuse of official position or authority, Cening rights from labour relations and unauthorized use of property.
In the early hours of the morning, Kosovo Police had landed at the Ministry of Industry, Undertaking and Trade. Where Hafiz Gara and Irfan Lipovica were arrested.
Their arrest was carried out under suspicion that they were involved in misuse of state reserves. Lipovica had been appointed task manager of the ministry's writer from Vetevendosje because of his ties to Mimoza Kusari and Besnik Bissim.
However, the arrest that had made headlines was that of Kosovo Energy Corporation chief (KEK), Nagip Krasniqi.

However, last October at the Constitutional Court in Pristina, Krasniqi at the initial review hearing had not pleaded guilty.
“Plottly innocent”- Krasniqi said before the judge, Arben Hoti.
Last year, the executive chief of the Hydroeconomic Company Board “was also arrested. Iber-Lepenci”, Faruk Mujka.
