The free movement agreement between the Vremica and Morina border points, on March 1st, has ceased to function for a two-month period.
During this period, the border points of Albania and Kosovo will process the data of drivers and travelers with accelerated procedure.
This is also about avoiding queues and expectations because of the high flow of vehicles and travelers, also due to improved weather conditions.
Even though drivers and travelers are talking about free movement throughout the year, they say that it has not been waited long at the border while controls see them normal.
Meanwhile, on weekends and official holidays the movement is without control for Albania and Kosovo's traga vehicles.
The free movement agreement signed between Kosovo and Albania in the spring of last year avoided traffic and eased the border movement during the summer season. The Albania-Kosovo Joint Border Point processes the largest number of vehicles and travellers to enter and emerge on both sides of the border.
