Of the 115 patients being treated abroad, six are in critical condition, while others are in stable condition, while five patients are expected to return to Macedonia from next week's Monday.
Health Minister Arben Taravari said that the returning patients will first be admitted into the country's hospitals, and then released home.
The worst-cased “Patients are two at the clinic centre in Lublana, and 4 at the military medical academy in Belgrade. Those patients are in more serious condition. A drop is planned by a hospital from Italy, Spain 2 concessions, from Sweden a concession and 2 from Austria. These are planned, but it is not defined, again on Monday we will announce to you“, said Arben Taravari, Minister of Health in Northern Macedonia.
The situation of 54 patients being treated in Skopje is also stable, and new concessions from hospitals will be made Monday.
Health Insurance Fund Director Sasho Klekovski said this battle will be over and will not be completed in 1 or two weeks.
He said that as the risk of burning and respiratory injuries decreases, infection increases.
“Anyway why it shouldn't be the drop point. As the threat of acute burns and respiratory injuries decreases, the risk of infection begins to rise. So the battle does not end, it still exists, and it is possible that patients who were in good condition are getting worse because of the risk of infection. What we are taking into the country are even colleagues abroad who are regularly toxicological and microbiologically monitoring. One sign of why we shouldn't settle down is the seizure of six new patients yesterday, of whom 5 are in toxicology”, he said.
Currently in Skopje, 54 patients are distributed to several hospitals, where 27 are in clinical center, 11 at the “8 hospital. September” and 10 at hospital “Saint Nahum of Ohrid” Also, 6 patients are laid down in private clinics.
