KFOR has said that during the meeting that Major Commander Enrico Bardonini and Prime Minister Albin Kurti have both exchanged views on the current situation in the country.
Also, by KFOR it is said they have also talked about co-operation between KFOR and Kosovo institutions.
General Major Bardonini stressed KFOR's continued commitment to ensuring a safe and secure environment for all people living in Kosovo, regardless of their ethnicity, gender, religion, or political ties.
This meeting was part of the regular interactions of General Major Bardoniti with his respective counterparts in Kosovo and the region.
KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and for freedom of movement, always and without differences. KFOR works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union for Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as a security response, KFOR says.
