Jethlir Zyberaj, part of the AKR chairman's team, Behgjet Pacolli, said they had no contact with the country's president, Vjosa Osmani, nor with MPD Minister Donika Grovall in connection with the process of recognising Kosovo from Kenya.
Zyberaj said in T7 that Osman and Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca have contacted Pacolli to thank him for bringing recognition from Kenya.
” This is good news for Kosovo, Kenya is a state that supports Kosovo's democratic development process and is listed side by side of democratic countries. This is an encouragement that work in this regard should never be stopped and that we should use all ways that our country is helped in this process”, he said.
Zyberaj was asked if they had contact with state institutions for this process.
No, we haven't, I believe, state institutions are the ones that need to lead these processes. As the host of the process, the institutions must follow. We had no contact. Pacolli has been contacted by President Osmani and Konjufca to thank him for his engagement, but so far there has been no co-ordination or call for better co-operation of the country, he said.
He said there will be other recognitions from other states.
"Absolutely yes." Zyberaj answered briefly.
