The Israelite army has ordered the people to evacuate from parts of the city of Rafah, which borders Egypt. The military said it would soon act against militants in the Tel al-Sultan area that has suffered major damage due to the preliminary bombings in Rafah. Still, it is not clear whether the command to evacuate signals a new Israeli earthly operation, however, broadcasts Periscope.
Israel had launched a major offensive in Rafah last May, when it took control of a strategic corridor along the border with Egypt and an important crossing point.
Meanwhile, Hamas said that Salah Bardawil, member of his political bureau and the Palestinian Parliament, was killed during the Mavas attacks. His wife was also killed during the attacks.
Bardawil was a prominent political member of the radical Palestinian group, which in recent years has even had interviews with different media.

Israel last week ended its ceasefire with Hamas and launched a wave of air strikes that left hundreds of Palestinians killed in Gaza.
The truce, reached in January, suspended fierce fighting that was sparked by Hamas' attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. Hamas had killed about 1,200 people and had kidnapped about 250 others.
As a result of the Israeli offensive in Gaza, 49,747 Palestinians were killed, and according to the Gaza Health Ministry, over half of the victims were women and children. Israel, meanwhile, without offering evidence has claimed to have killed nearly 20,000 militants.
