It was said that dialogue is the only way to resolve all issues.
Foundation President Drita Zef Gashi said Kosovo has a long heritage and history of religious co-existence and interethnic co-existence, which, according to him, should be preserved and strengthened more.
She said that at the time when the world is facing numerous challenges, today Kosovo sends the clear message that dialogue is the only bridge to build a fair, equal and peace-loving society, reports Online Economy, broadcast Periscope.
The “ion is to strengthen the joint without violating the difference. We hope for a common future for all. We must strengthen what unites us. Unity should not be understood as an attempt to eliminate our diversity. We intend for this table to continue next year because we are convinced that peace is not in static condition. It is at this time when the world faces numerous challenges, we today send a clear message, dialogue is the only bridge to build a righteous, equal, and peace - loving society. Kosovo has a long history of co-existence, which is a precious legacy. This is a precious heritage, not only to be preserved but also to be strengthened more”, he said. Kosovo Parliament Speaker Glauk Konjufca has said that in the history of the Albanian people there has never been conflicts that have religious grounds, adding that this is an Albanian model that is not found elsewhere.
He has added that interreligious dialogue as an essential aspect is nowhere like in Kosovo.
There is a pattern, which is original, because it's hard to find somewhere else. The long history of our lowly people shows that at no time in our history there has been a conflict that has religious grounds in our nation. Our nation is the host of four major monotheistic religions. When we say the Albanian model exists, it has to produce literature, is the wealth we have, and we have to distribute it. Interreligious dialogue as an essential aspect is nowhere like in Kosovo”, he has said.
Vatican Apostolic Delegation Jean Marie Speed has said that we must work for dialogue, work for peace and move forward. Something like here that we promote with representatives of all religious communities, because the solution to the happiness of co-existence is not only in politics and economics, but in dialogue and peaceful co-existence. It's a pleasure and a moment of sincerity, we can harvest a lot of fruit from this day. As you know, sacred headquarters promotes interreligious dialogue for a long time. The good solution is to get to each other step by step. This is essential and I'm seeing today's organization in this sense. We have to work for dialogue. We need to work for peace and move forward”, he said. While Pristina chairman Progress Rama said peace is a tangible reality for which everyone must work. /Periscope/
