An assassination attempt has occurred Sunday evening in Pristina, where a person has been wounded with firearms after a dispute with two unknown persons.
According to the Police report, the event occurred around 10:30.
“Victime, a Kosovo male, has accepted medical treatment after the wound, while the perpetrators of the attack, who were passengers at the moment of the incident, are still on the run”, said the police report.
Police have launched investigations into the full whitelight of the case and are searching for suspects. Authorities call for co-operation by citizens who may have information regarding their whereabouts.
The event has caused concern among citizens as possession of illegal weapons continues to remain a security challenge in the country.
