(a year ago)The chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has honoured the memory of 106 martyrs executed by Serbian forces in the village of Pastasel of Rahovec, during the Kosovo war in the spring of 1999. He has called this tragedy a moment that further strengthened the Albanian people's commitment to freedom and statehood. [...]
Haradinaj said that the Serbian state machine, seeing its end, activated its murderous machinery against the Albanian people, leaving lasting pain behind for many families and the entire nation. He also recalled 42 innocent Albanians from the village of Burim of Malisheva, who had the same fate and were executed by Serb forces.
Haradinaj stressed that Kosovo will never forget those who gave their lives for the freedom of this country, and will remain honored and eternal in the nation's memory.
The Serbian state camera, looking at its end, in the spring of 1999 activated its entire killing machine...
