French Foreign Minister Jean-Nowl Barrot says the “holding of Ukraine's front “is getting closer and closer to” with the European Union, increasing the possibility of expanding the war.
Speaking of radio “France Inter”, he said the risk of a war in Europe has never been high, because according to him, the threat has been approaching almost 15 years, the BBC reports.
Barrot adds that Sunday's summit in London was “the regime of a whole portion of Europeans who refused to see the reality of things”, which, he says, are now convinced that they must ensure their defence and security.
In the near future, he says it is possible that conversations between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Donald Trump can resume, saying there is a “joint awareness” of interest between Ukraine, the United States and Europe to end “imperialist wishes”.
