The chief of the European Union Office in Kosovo, Aivo Ora, has stressed that the European Union is the goal of Serbia and Kosovo. To achieve this, according to him, dialogue is a condition, or rather a precondition.
European Union Office chief in Kosovo Aivo Ora, in exclusive interview for Kosovo RTK2, has stressed the importance of the process of normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia, stressing that this process is of crucial importance for the future.
“I cannot imagine how Serbia or Kosovo can join the European Union without normalising relations”, Orav has stressed.
He has stressed that this is a key step towards stability and integration into European structures.
Our financial assistance or money is only a means to help implement reforms and help both sides prepare for membership in the European Union”, he has stressed.
Speaking of forming the new government, Orav stressed that the process of forming government often after the elections lasts long.
I have heard complaints that this process in Kosovo is taking a long time, but most importantly, the will of all voters is to be properly considered”, Orav said.
According to him, it is extremely important that the election results reflect citizens' wishes, regardless of the duration of negotiations./Periscopi/
