Education field viewer from the “Institute EdGard”, Youth Qehaja, told Radio Kosovo that he does not believe there could be any radical change in the results of the P-test ISA.
Good “Rissi for this year's test P The ISA, it's a whole digital test, so a different exposure of participating students, but we hope to get a different result. Could there be any radical difference in rank, we don't believe much, because we don't generally have any modifications within the educational system and teaching itself, so that change in class can be converted to a higher rank on the PISA” test, Qehaja said.
Centre for Standards and Education Leader Fatmir Elezi said the selected school municipalities and co-ordinators are making preparations with students for the way this test is organised.
And as for the results of past years, he said they are not satisfied until he stressed that this year it is intended that Kosovo pass through several Balkan states.
We speak in three fields: reading, math and science. PISA does not directly measure the student, but the methodology that we use in schools does distinguish much from the measure P ISA. Teaching teachers should be encouraged to have as many practical tasks as possible. If we focus on the results, we are not happy, but if we look at the list of participating states, we aim at at at least some Balkan states crossing”, Elez said. /Periscope/
Elez said preparations for this test started long ago, while he indicated that the test would focus on three main areas.
“P ISA focuses on three main areas: math reading and science, and this year there is the implementation of technology in everyday life. This year the test will be held online. We've prepared a glove with test questions. P The ISA, we've electronically distributed it, but it's also on the Ministry of Education page, where teachers can download it”, he said.
Meanwhile, the Education Ministry has recently presented preparations for international test PISA 2025, which will focus this year on science and environmental challenges. The programme for International Students' assessment (PISA) estimates the performance of 15-year-old students on real-life tasks, considered important for effective participation in adult society and teaching throughout life. For this year, 240 schools have been selected in Kosovo with about 6 thousand and 300 students to participate in this international assessment.
