The National Authority for Cyber Security in collaboration with the Electronic Communications Agency has urged internet companies to take measures to block access to TikTok on Albanian territory within Thursday (March 13th).

The request comes after the government's decision and Prime Minister Edi Rama's decision to close the app by also taking the parents' suggestion.
Meanwhile, two days later, on March 15th, Sali Berisha has called a protest against the government's decision to block TikTok.
The ban was taken on child safety, while the platform is expected to reopen again at the first moment the company will guarantee filters to protect young people from violent messages. /Telegrapher
