Some images of damaged buildings in the village of Naung Lin, Shan State, have been sent to the BBC, where Myanmar junta fighters reportedly dropped bombs Friday evening.
Myanmar's military junta has continued to bomb parts of the war-torn country after the big earthquake there, which has killed more than 1600 people.
The UN has described the attacks as full and unacceptable “wild and unacceptable”, writes A2 CNN, broadcasts Periscope.
Special rapporteur Tom Andrews told the BBC that it was nothing less than incredible” that the army was continuing “dropped bombs when you were trying to save people” after the earthquake.
He called on the military regime, which took power in a coup nearly four years ago, to stop all military operations.
“Whoever has influence in the military must increase pressure and make it very clear that this is not acceptable,” he said.
“I call on the junta to simply stop, stop any of its military operation,” he added.
Pro-democracy rebel groups struggling to remove the military from power have reported air raids in the town of Chang-U in the northwest Sagaing region, the earthquake's anchor. There are also reports of air strikes in regions near the Thailand border. /Periscope/
