The grandparents and uncle of young Emily, the two - and - a - half - year - old French boy who disappeared in 2023 in the French Alps and whose remains were found nine months later, have been released by investigative authorities after being interrogated while in custody.
The arrest announcement had issued a storm of hypothesiss for possible responsibility in the death of grandparents, who were just entrusted by their parents for summer vacations.
At a mid-day press conference, the public prosecutor for Aix-en-Provence, Jean-Luk Blachon, said the remains of the baby's body were moved before their discovery. According to him, violent trauma tracks have been found on Emily's face, reports Express Journal Transmitt Periscope.
The two-day detention of grandparents and friends of Emile “na allowed us to answer the questions we had asked ourselves”, said prosecutor Aix-en-Provence, Jean- Luc Blachon after the release of the child's four relatives. The four were released because the “trials were not enough to open an investigation against them” the prosecutor said, but the family's “has not finally closed”.
The prosecutor in charge of the investigation spoke today of the “intervention of a third person” possible in the child's disappearance. According to the findings, the clothes in which Emile's remains were found were not originally in the body.
<x) This suggests that a third party has intervened after the child's disappearance and death.
Blachon specified that “vazo” seized in front of a church “does not contain any elements that it allows to advance investigations”.
After finding the vase on March 13th in the village of Haut-Vernet where Emile had disappeared, several rumors had spread, as traces of blood had been found on the flowerbed and someone had spread rumors that the child's body was hidden in vases. /Periscope/
