In the Democratic League of Kosovo, sʹka secession, Deputy Chairman Lutfi Haziri says. According to him, the recent frustrations expressed by members of headship are more for political noise. However, he does not consider them ridiculous, but such as should be discussed in the party's internal organs.
He in an interview for KosovoPress says former Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti's request for new leadership in the LDK has been unclear and has not been known what it means.
In spite of that, Haziri is also critical of party officials who have secured the MP's mandate, but, according to him, have brought no vote beyond the LDK. However, he refused to speak with names about who they are, broadcasts Periscope.
At least he (Avdullah Hoti) is in the position to make ridiculous statements. Avdullah Hoti and most of us in the LDK behave and work as responsible, wise and mild in our attitudes, but motionless and stubborn on the basis of the political principles we have. We represent our values. That's political noise and nothing else. The LDK needs to be supported and politically preserved as political organisation. We, some, the LDK as a political family, because we've been and we're political idealists connected as navel to LDK. So there's no way I can accept the political noise and use the LDK politically. The quest for new leadership, what does it mean? If Mr. Abdixhik at the meeting said you're willing to call the House, why wasn't Parliament called? What does the new leadership mean: the new LDK leader, the new LDK chairman? It's okay if I have to. But in this political process, the LDK does not accept the political noise to send us into a ditch where there are some who are protecting someone and there's someone who's attacking someone”, he says.
Haziri cites the name of Visar Azemi, chairman of the LDK branch in Ferizaj, and who as a new figure has increased the LDK vote beyond the electoral base.
On the contrary, however, it says of some party officials who have won seats in the Kosovo Assembly and, according to him, boast they have received many votes. But, Haziri claims that the same vote has not been brought beyond the LDK's electoral base.
For me, much more important and appreciated are some names that in LDK have entered the list and have won the MP's seat, but have had courage and have offered their name and contributed. He is a contributor and has created the possibility for the LDK to gain 20 seats, rather than those in LDK who have won seats with many numbers that have managed to manage the LDK's domestic vote. He or she has been better able to manage the LDK's internal vote, but no vote beyond the LDK has led her. Zero votes brought. It has secured seating in the LDK, and no vote outside LDK has taken it. It's new and old. The new ones have brought votes beyond the LDK. What brings Visar Azemi to LDK? He's brought a vote beyond the LDK. It has come for the first time, has come to the top of the LDK structure in Ferizaj, and it is the largest contributor to LDK than some who have taken seats in the manner and form it has managed to manage, have contacts and connections and managed the LDK vote. He even says I got too many votes. What vote, too much? Let's divide it up by ten and see how much it turns out. It is the LDK's internal vote and is attributed to LDK leader”, he adds.
Commenting on the February 9th election score, where the LDK was listed as the third party, he says political expectations have been higher, however, would respect the same.
We've been working, so there's been political expectations. We've worked for better results and greater civic support. Our engagement has been unstoppable, our programme has been worked by good teams and names of people who have authors inside and beyond Kosovo”, Haziri declares.
On the other hand, in terms of LVV accusations that LDK has manipulated votes by mail from the diaspora, Haziri says such a thing has been knocked down. PZAP and the Supreme Court.
However, Haziri says that what happened in the votes by mail is not good and that justice organs should make the process whole.
“Cosmetic change as it happened in this recent law has created opportunities to be damaged after voting has been affected. Look at the delays, look at the new election formula what caused it and look at the margin vote. The first party is accusing the second parties in the exile. We're not right to grow up? Why we've got more votes, they've built complaint mechanisms against us. What has happened is not good and cannot be said to be good. Votes in embassies and votes by mail are not safe, it is not preserved and it is not guaranteed. We need to see to the end what happened. State bodies should not be allowed to pass this. The investigation must be completed and this process cleared. This isn't about LDK. For LDK this culture is not recognised and it is unacceptable and punishable. I demand that this case be cleared”, Haziri concludes.
The LDK in the February 9th elections came in third party. After the elections, former Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti called for new leadership in the party, openly expressing that he is disappointed with the election outcome.
He has stressed that the personalisation of the election campaign, the composition of the list, the ranking of candidates on the list, the presentation and media favouring of a close list of LDK candidates, as well as other issues ahead and during the campaign, have damaged the inner party cohesion, despite all our efforts to overcome those discontent.
While LDK Vice-President Doarsa Kica-Jeli has named “funnyer” Hoti's statement about changing the party leadership, saying that LDK structures have given full support to Obadiah as party chairman.
