With the announcement of the election process results, both abroad and within the parties came and discontent.
Rebellion within the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) was created with what is considered vote-ridden within the party.
This has even caused severe reactions.
The elected MP, Avdullah Hoti, has publicly appeared with criticism of his party.
He even sought new leadership in the LDK.
In the face of these complaints, a former party deputy says they should be left out, as long as the state has more important topics.
Faton Bislimi in a response to Periscope has said the LDK, despite the election results, should have unity.
“Internal political standards must be secondary compared to the challenges our state faces. This does not mean that someone should be excluded from political responsibility. But, simply, it is principled and politically necessary that beyond all other interests, we put Kosovo's interest in it. Even the LDK has an irreplaceable place in Kosovo's modern history. It's Kosovo's GOP (Grand Old Party) -- it's the way of success towards internationalisation of our issue that then helped achieve freedom and independence. Despite the outcome of the February 9th election that left the LDK away from expectations promoted by its leadership, the LDK needs what I have said all of a single Unity in Differences!”, he said.
Former MP Bislimi has said LDK needs Reflection and return.
And I remind you that I for principle and convinced that LDK was diverting from the path leading by President Historical Dr. Rugova, I was alone in my struggle to maintain its political axis since spring 2022. So, more than post-phactum reactions, today the LDK needs internal cohesion, reflection, and return to its political axis. This is possible, and an LDK of authentic values, for which I have fought without any hesitation even alone, helps Kosovo itself. So let's go back to the national ideals and authentic values of the Rugovist political action, where, first of all, it's been and it's going to be Kosovo!”, Bislim said of Periscope.
