Compensation for weekend work since 2010 in law is now expected to start implementation

The announcement these additions will now receive has gone to each police official this week. The Kosovo Police Union confirmed this.
The law clearly specifys, which in addition public sector workers get extras in other cases.
“Compensation by paragraph 1. This article is paid in percentages of the basic salary under the proper work law, as follows: 20 % an hour for custody; 30 % an hour for work at night; 30 % an hour for overtime; 50 % an hour for work during holiday days; and 50 % per hour for work during weekend”, says Article 36 for the Pagan Law.
Former police official now lawyer, Wisar Rrecaj, is saying that failure to implement this law so far is unfair, especially for the Kosovo Police.
