Invited to the “show Kosovo Today” in Klan Kosova, Koci stressed he believes in Thaci's innocence and that he does not want to be declared more at this stage, but expressed his concern about the former president's treatment.
I believe in Hashim Thaci's innocence, so that's it from my side. I am registered as a lawyer in The Hague and at this stage I don't want to declare myself any more. I know he's going to be released, but I'm worried about this kind of humanitarian treatment. I am concerned that a citizen of Kosovo, aside-of-the-side permit, be treated in this form, when the state of Kosovo has established this court”, Koci said.
Former President Hashim Thaci had visited his father several days before his break from life, following several demands and with permission granted by the Specialised Chambers. However, he was not allowed to attend the funeral ceremony, a decision that has prompted numerous reactions./Periscop/
