(a year ago)The Supreme Court has decided to reject MP Monica Kryegri, leaving the Special Appeal ruling in effect confirming the seizure of one of its family villas in Tirana. In December of last year, the Special Court of Appeals decided to unscramble on one of [the] villas.
In December of last year, the Special Court of Appeals decided to remove from one of the grander family villas in the area of “Sun Framework”, converting ownership to its mother, the Grand Fate, broadcasts Periscope.
However, the villa continues to remain sequentised, following the Supreme Court's decision that rejected the appeal filed by the Chief Lord.
On the first scale, the SPAK had demanded the seizure of both properties, but the Court of Appeals decided to free one of them from preventive measures. With the last decision, the selection of one of the villas remains in force, giving SPAK the right to the rest of his request.
Monica Kryeqi, is under investigation by the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor and Organised Crime on several counts, including corruption, money laundering and non-recognition of revenues.
The charges relate to undeclared spending by the LSI for lobby in the United States. These expenses were not reported to the Central Election Commission as required by law.
Also, investigations include undeclared personal expenses for aesthetic treatments abroad. In a statement to the media, Grand admitted that he has conducted bottos type treatments, but denied having performed aesthetic surgery.
