Under the government law, adopted in 2022, in the event a member of the incumbent government is elected MP of the Republic of Kosovo, he should resign from the post of member of the government prior to the Day of Certificate of results.

The current prime minister, Albin Kurti, to date, will hold the position of head of government. All of this as the certificate of election results of February 9th results is expected to take place, writes Periscope.
It means; Article 26 of Law No. 08/L-17 for the Government of the Republic of Kosovo envisions before the Day of Certificate of Results, Kurti resigns from the post of Kosovo prime minister.
Today, the Supreme Court has refused all complaints against PZAP decisions as groundless, and this also paves the way for the certificate of election.
