Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has declared on Thursday that Canada will continue to be in business war with the United States in the near future, a day after the telephone conversation he had with American President Donald Trump broadcasts Reuters.
Trudeau has said that Canada will continue to communicate with senior administration officials Trump on tariffs, repeating its goal is to remove them.
“I can confirm that we will continue to be in business war with the United States of America for the near future”, he said.
Canada was quick to respond to American tariffs, setting an immediate price of 25 percent for American imports worth $30 billion.
Trudeau has added that economic measures will not be removed until the Trump administration ends trade clashes.
