Basha: With Kosovo membership in NATO to end territorial integrity issue once and for all

Basha has said NATO membership for Kosovo would resolve the issue of sovereignty and its integrity.

“We have an extraordinary chance, with Kosovo's NATO membership, to put an end to the territorial integrity and sovereignty issue of the Republic of Kosovo in every corner of its” territory, Basha has said in Tv1, broadcast Periscope.

He has said that Kosovo's membership in NATO would relat to the issue of the Commission Association with the Serb Majority.

For this to happen, Kosovo must be prepared to take specific steps in the report belonging to a country with NATO membership commitments. The resolution of this issue, taking over both the co-operation and non-recognition of four NATO member states, has a way of whether there is will, relating or bringing into another dimension issues such as the rights of the Serb minority in relation to the association of their municipalities. He has said that Kosovo is an example for other states in the Western Balkans as far as democracy is concerned.

“Taking into account not only the last elections, we should have told them that Kosovo is a democracy lecture for Balkan autocrats. It's the Balkans, it has its own problems, but my heart grows so high that a state that has only a decade and a half independence manages to lecture Belgrade if so, but also Sarajevo, Skopje, Podgorica and Tirana, when it comes to establishing democracy that is organising free and fair elections and not considering the outcome coming out of the” elections, he has said.
