Democratic League of Kosovo MP Hykmete Bajrami has written about the ZERE decision to expensive electricity.
In a writing on the social network Facebook, he reacted after the board chairman's statement, which said that with 15 per cent increase, if 50 euros has been paid, 58 euros will now be paid.
Bajrmai has mentioned that most of the families pay more than 50 euros a month for electricity.
The 15% price of energy for commercial suppliers (businesss) is directly additional costs for all their products and services.
The increase in energy prices is the first but not the last blow, because when businesses increase spending, then the prices of all basic products will rise again, such as the price of bread, milk, oil, sugar, transportation and any other essential product for living.
So, the standard of living in 2025 will be lower than that of 2020.
Add here the fact that the ZERE is putting 1,000 of the country's largest companies on the open market. According to the ZERE decision from June 1st KESCO there is no obligation to supply these companies with electricity anymore, they must buy energy on the open market. Practically this means that these 1,000 companies can't buy the energy KEK produces, but they have to buy imported energy at the price of at least twice as high (see the prices on the stock market), so that if some of them can go bankrupt, some will end up running away from the workers to cut spending, and they will all be forced to increase prices to survive, which will make them non-competitive in the domestic market and international market, therefore this turns out to grow up as well as too high <oh).
On the other hand, Bajrami has said that this decision benefits K ESCO and energy dealers, or what Kurt called the opposition “Energy mafia”.
“The query: Who will benefit from this decision?
Answer: K ESCO and energy dealers, or as Kurti called them when he was in opposition: “power mafia”.
Clearly, applying this decision leads to the collapse of the economy and welfare of the citizens”.

Implementation of the ZERE decision will have serious consequences for the country's economy and the welfare of citizens.
