Austrian Minister for European Integrations Claudia Manlem has said the future of the Western Balkan region is in the EU.
Manlem has said that EU enlargement, especially for the Western Balkans, should remain a top priority for the European Union, Periscope.
“We owe our partners, some of whom have been waiting for so long, to offer a clear and reliable perspective”, she wrote.
The Austrian minister's stance comes as she has had the opportunity to speak with government officials of the countries of the region, including Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi.
