“Americans coming out of NATO”, Elon Musk: It makes no sense to pay for Europe's defence

Secretary - General NATO, Mark Rutte, stressed that increased defence budgets and the production of more military equipment are necessary for Europe's security. He said European countries should increase defence spending and improve the production of military equipment, as they have long been produced less than required. NATO, which includes most of Europe, the United States and Canada, needs ammunition, ships, tanks, planes, satellites and fears.
European countries are working to increase defence spending and support Ukraine, following a period when Trump had suspended military aid to Ukraine and raised doubts about the United States' commitment to European allies. EU leaders also discussed increasing defence spending, beyond budget restrictions for other sectors, at a summit Thursday. Rutte stressed that he had talked with the directors of defence companies and had asked them to respond to the growing demand for military equipment.
