In a letter of comfort to Athachlighter, he wrote that he is constantly praying for God to give you the strength to deal with these difficult times.
We pray that God will give you and your family strength to deal with these difficult times. We continue to pray for your release so that you can join your family, especially now”It says on paper.
My country's “says that delayed justice is injustice, and your case has been injustice since the beginning.”, It says further on paper.

A Letter of Comfort
Dear President Thaci,
Dear Mr. President,
With great sorrow we have heard of the separation from your father's life.
We express our heartfelt condolences to you and your family.
We know from experience how painful a parent's loss is because there is nothing that can compare this great loss.
We pray that God will give strength to you and your family to deal with these difficult times.
We continue to pray for your release so that you can join your family, especially now. In my land there is said to be injustice, and your case has been iniquity from the beginning. It's very painful that during the last years of your father's life, you weren't close to him. As soon as I realized, the court gave you only about three hours to be with him in the last few moments.
As you can remember, I was planning to visit you in prison, along with Ambassador and Congressman Tony Hall, and Ambassador Ahmet Shala. Because of an illness, I had to cancel my trip, but I have continued to pray for you and your family, and I will continue to do so until the day you are released and will be near your family, friends and wonderful people of Kosovo.
I hope we can visit you soon, and my prayer is that this nightmare is over by then.
America is truly blessed with such a strong bond of friendship between two nations and our peoples. I am deeply grateful for this friendship.
With much love, we express our sincerest condolences,
Claude M. Kicklighter
Lieutenant General (Retire) the American Army
