Police in Durres have arrested 3 people exercising criminal activity in the area of cannabis production and distribution.
Under the code-named Spring operation, citizen Haxhi Cela, 34, resident of Lusnje, for criminal work “Producing and selling narcotics”, conducted in collaboration, broadcasts Periscope.
Police suggested that during the operation, close to Shkozet's overpass, police services stopped for control the vehicle headed by Cela suspected of carrying narcotics with the aim of selling into the Lushnja area. During the search in the trunk of the vehicle, a suspected narcotic substance of the type sativa cannabis was found and seized.
Following investigative and operational actions, the location, capture and arrest of two other citizens -- namely, Ardis Kraja, 43, and Gerald Red, 25, residents of Durres -- for criminal acts “production and the sale of narcotics”, conducted in co-operation and “Protion and possession of cold weapons”.
The first investigative actions resulted in these two citizens selling citizens Hadzi Cela in the Hospital area, the No. 15, the narcotics that was seized during this operation.
During the search on the vehicle with which citizens Ardis Kraja and Gerald Red were travelling, police services found and seized an iron handle.
