More than 2 thousand high school students from Ohrid in the city square placed flowers and lit candles in honour of tragedy victims in Kocan.
Students said they are shocked and feeling disappointed by institutions that, they said, have not done their job enough in the last 30 years.
In our country institutions are failing, not doing the job they are given. Corruption has affected our entire country and I think it was the peak. Much larger measures will now be taken. This shouldn't stop here, because it's a shame that all rights have been removed, this time they've lifted the basic right to life. If we don't get up, it'll be over in three days. Not only are those who are guilty in this case, but all those who are involved in corruption in this country, who have or do not have the background in this case, the solution must be made”, said student Lambe Ivanovski.
I feel angry and I know that it could happen to anyone and that we could have been in that place and that's why I think we couldn't have received any more sad news than this. These days, both teachers and parents advise us that we should be careful not to visit such places. Our generation of children goes to parties like this. Hence, we must be careful”, said Anna Iloska, another student.
We all need to understand that we could have been in those kids' place. Parents should be aware that their children are minor and should not be allowed to operate after 12 p.m., they don't control IDs, we live in a corrupt place in which this corruption should stop and until it stops, we can be the next victims”, Stefanija Nasteska, writes Alsat.mk, broadcast Periscopi.
Ohrid students held ten minutes of silence in honour of the victims. Meanwhile, on the Struga Wood the table has appeared with the message “We are all guilty of missing hugs”. On the other hand, two diialise hospitals in Struga and the city's general hospital organised action to collect medical equipment to help Hospital “8 September” in Skopje, where some of the injured are laid down. /Periscope/
