Ukrainian President Voldymyr Zelensky has published the first message after leaving the White House, amid very hot debates with US President Donald Trump, and with the collapse of a signed agreement on rare minerals that was envisioned.
Through the message written in the X social media, Zelensky seems to iron out Vice President JD Vance, who told him at the Oval Office that “had never thanked US aid”.
After making it clear at the meeting that he has given thanks to the American people decades, Zelensky writes on X:
Thank you, America. Thank you for your support. Thank you for this visit. Thank you Trump, Congress and the American people.
Ukraine needs fair and lasting peace, and we're working on this”.
