Zelensky: Ukraine won't recognise US-Russia talks in Saudi Arabia

Zelensky has said Ukraine is unaware of talks between the United States and Russia in Saudi Arabia and considers that no negotiations for Ukraine, but without Ukraine, will have results.
“We cannot recognise any agreement for us without us”, has told Zelensky reporters in the capital of the United Arab Emirates.

US special envoy for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg said on Monday afternoon that no one would impose Zelensky's peace agreement and that “ai and his men would make that decision”.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Yuri Usshakov, Russian Deputy President Vladimir Putin on foreign policy issues, will travel to Saudi Arabia to meet with their American counterparts, said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
The talks, scheduled for February 18th in Riyadh, will focus on improving relations between Moscow and Washington, Peskov told reporters.
The United States will be represented by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who is only in Riyadh, National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, and special envoy Steve Whitoff has confirmed the US State Department.
Speaking at a media conference in Moscow, along with his Serbian counterpart, Lavrov has said that Europe has already had some opportunities to get involved in finding a solution for Ukraine, and does not know how European states can contribute if invited to the negotiating table, considering that European politicians want the war to continue.
Although there are different views of Ukraine among European politicians, most agree they want “long-term” for Ukraine.
US President Donald Trump has insisted that Zelensky “will be included” in negotiations to end the Russian war, until he said he could meet with the Kremlin leader, Putin very soon.
The war in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022.
