Political analyst Visar Ymer has criticised incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti for failing to present himself to the Special Prosecutor and for his statements to this institution.
According to Ymer, Kurt's refusal and his language pose clear threats and undermine Kosovo's constitutional order.
He said if you had any guts, come to me. This is a threat when it comes from the prime minister. And when you have a prime minister who not only refuses to go to the Prosecutor, but also threatens them publicly, this is the clearest example of the absolute lack of rule of law and democratic rule”, Ymer declared in Dbat Plus.
He has stressed that Kurti is acting, not as a simple citizen, but as prime minister, using the state position to challenge justice institutions.
I'm worried about seeing the prime minister, who could potentially be in power again, declaring war on the prosecution. This if you dare is a war proclamation”, it's the Ymer.
