According to the German medium WDR, referring to sources close to the investigation, one of the wounded could not survive the injuries and live in the hospital.
The shooting occurred at around 13:30 Wednesday, shortly after the end of the trial hearing against Huseyin Akkurt, charged with killing Niman in March 2024.
Two of the wounded have been identified as family members of the defendant.
Among them, Akkurt's father is in critical condition, allegedly being hit in the chest area.
Authorities are continuing investigations, while one suspect in the attack has been arrested, and another is still on the run.
The event has caused great alarm in the city and intensified security measures around the tribunal.
