The Central Election Commission is continuing with the process of assessment of the ballot packages that are part of the vote outside Kosovo, respectively, through mail.
So far, 22 thousand mail envelopes have been processed, and this process is expected to undergo more than 46 thousand and 600 envelopes or other packages of balloting.
According to the CEC procedures, ballot packages are subject to the evaluation process, which included verification whether they belong to registered voters and if other previous procedures are followed.
From voting outside Kosovo, these will not be the only votes to be counted and included in the final results. Part of these results will take place even more than 13 thousand and 300 votes from the diplomatic representation vote, which was held on February 8th, 2025.
During the census period, out of 104,924 citizens registered for voting outside Kosovo, the majority, 84,600, were registered to vote through mail and only 20,324 were registered for physical voting in diplomatic representations.
In final results, in addition to votes from regular polling (2.533) will include conditional votes from conditional polling (56), votes of persons with special needs, as well as votes from votes outside Kosovo.
Based on CEC data, the number of ballot envelopes from conditional polling is 12,801, which will also be subject to verification, which includes comparing to the list of voters signed at regular locations. Meanwhile, the number of votes for persons with special needs is 2,597 votes.
