Ving: NATO needs greater vigilance in Southeast Europe, especially regarding Kosovo

Albanian Defence Minister Pirro Ving reported that at a meeting of NATO defence ministers in Brussels, he noted that the Alliance needs increased vigilance in Southeast Europe, especially in terms of Kosovo. <x)
“I stressed the need for increasing the Alliance's vigilance in Southeast Europe, especially in terms of Kosovo, as well as in the Adriatic-Ion region, where Allied plans deserve to be updated with new strategic actions, in the face of numerous hybrid challenges”, Vangu said on Facebook.
As the main theme of the meeting was the increasing contributions and capacities of the Allied countries, in light of negotiations on a lasting peace between Russia and Ukraine, Wengu noted that, under <x0->moft the new American”, there are great expectations for greater efforts by European countries to strengthen their combat capabilities and take responsibility for protecting the continent.
He expressed Albania's readiness to translate increased defence funds into more operational capacities, the revival of military industry and infrastructure to support the modernisation of Albanian forces and their functioning in the Alliance.
