Veliaj writes again from prison, there is a request for citizens: Apply for Credit

From Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj's cell, he has called on citizens to apply for soft loans.

Veliaj writes in a post made on the social Facebook network that there are 1,200 quotas available.

“The soft loan programme for young couples and homeless families is one of the projects I care about most, and during these years, after reopening it, we have helped many Tirana citizens buy their home with the help of the government and Tirana City Hall. Even though I am locked in a cell without charges, convicted without trial, I would like to invite every citizen who applied during the first phase of the programme (where 2237 applicants were declared) to bring the necessary documentation to the second phase”, Veliaj wrote.

So far, in the second phase, many of the applicants have submitted documentation for soft loans, while there is time until March 31st, Veliaj has added.
