The decision was issued on February 12th at the SPAK order, while it has been in Durres' custody for about two weeks.
Mayor Erjon Veliaj, according to the SPAK's so-called investigation allegedly committed corruption on nine cases and cleared money, while the criminal investigation began from a postage information of identified citizens as Nesti Angoni, data that protocoled July 2023.
A few months later, the SPAK was put in motion, demanding first property statements and more than a year later from Angon's briefing, in the fall of 2024, asked a series of witnesses among them, including Ina Shkkij, who was allegedly interviewed at the ombudsman's offices, by Socialist MP Klotida Bushka, even under investigation in an isolated and ongoing proceedings.
Erjon Veliaj is held in the Durres prison and has repeatedly filed charges against SPAK prosecutors, among them, on the judicial situation where Veliaj was presented as a convict, a case that proved false. SPAK and the prison directorate explained that they described Veliaj as convicted because of an error in the electronic system.
The SPAK and special courts, meanwhile, seek to find the responsible for the rallying and intimulating of judges after the verdict was announced, which police reacted to, saying no one had sought help among them, not even the Guard. /ToopChannel/
