Vatican says Pope Francis has deteriorated

Francisco was admitted to Rome's Gemelli Hospital on February 14th after having trouble breathing for several days. Since then he has been diagnosed with double pneumonia, Reuters writes.
The Vatican said on Saturday that doctors should manage a high <x0fluks” oxygen due to its respiratory crisis. He added that blood transfusions were necessary because tests showed that he had a low number of platelets connected to anemia.
The condition of the Holy Father remains critical”, the statement states. The Pope is not out of danger.
The Vatican announced earlier in the day that it would not go public on Sunday to lead the prayer with pilgrims, the second week in a row that it would lose the event.
