He also disclosed that this war has burdened US sources, citing the depletion of military stocks and its broader impact.
Vance criticised Donald Trump's previous administration, saying this war could have been prevented under the leadership of the former president and that neither Europe, nor the Benden administration, nor Ukraine had a possible way out of victory.
According to Vance, the United States has a considerable impact on both sides and can play a key role in promoting peace talks.
He added that Western aid, despite its considerable size, cannot exceed Russia's military superiority and that only talks could bring a sustainable solution to this conflict.
