Asked about Trump's plans for obtaining Gaza from the US during Prime Minister Starmer's questions, Starmer said the latest photos of thousands of Palestinians walking home through Gaza's ruins had shaken him.
“They should be allowed to return home, should be allowed to rebuild and we should be with them on that reconstruction road towards a two-state solution,” he told the House of Commons.
He also said that images of reuniting British-Israelian freed hostage Emily Damari with her mother “extremely touching” and stressed the importance of a sustainable ceasefire, with the remaining freed hostages and the allowed aid in Gaza. /euronews
