United Arab Emirates President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited Albania for the first time as EBA president, at the helm of a high-level delegation the previous day.
He was hosted by Prime Minister Rama at Mother Teresa Airport and was later honoured at a welcoming ceremony in the Palace of Brigades, and then both held a face-to-face meeting.
Under this visit, several signed co-operation agreements were exchanged at a special ceremony in the presence of Prime Minister Edi Rama and EBA President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Concretically signed:
The Framework Agreement between Masdar, T AQA, KESH and OST, which were exchanged between Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy Belinda Balluk, as well as MASDAR Chairman Sultan Al Jaber.
A letter of engagement for the Albanian Smart City Project between “Presight Al Ltd” and the Interior Ministry of Albania, exchanged between Interior Minister Ervin Hoxha and Chairman of “Preest Al Ltd” Sultan Al Jaber.
Yesterday, he was escorted to the International Airport “Mother Teresa” around 6:00 by Prime Minister Rama.
